Hi there! It's nice to meet ya!

My name is Abby, I am 26 years old, and I am the founder of Sunflowers Against Sexual Assault (SASA). I am currently pursuing my Bachelors of Science in Public Health at Oregon State University with the hopes of using epidemiology practices and concepts to study and prevent violence in communities. I am certified to be a volunteer crisis advocate for victims of sexual violence in Georgia, and I work with survivors on a weekly basis on crisis hotlines. Since founding SASA in 2017, I have been able to share my own story to thousands, partner with rape crisis centers and child advocacy centers, and empower other survivors of violence.

In my spare time, I love going to Broadway musicals, playing board games, and cuddling up with my cats, Gravy Boat and Sausage Biscuit.

The Miss Georgia

Scholarship Competition

Since 2021, I have been able to widely promote Sunflowers Against Sexual Assault with my involvement with the Miss Georgia Scholarship Competition and the Miss America Opportunity.  The Miss Georgia Scholarship Competition has allowed me the unique experience to serve communities across the state, countless opportunities to advocate for survivors, connect with other empowered women, all while receiving scholarship funds for post-secondary education.
